Sensor

The TriScape50 is a 1U CubeSat RGB video imager developed by Simera Sense, part of the xScape50 payload family designed for compact orbital imaging platforms.

The instrument uses a CMOS global shutter with an RGB Bayer pattern and NIR cut-off filter, covering 450-670 nm. Resolution is 12.6 MP (4096 x 3072 pixels) at 10-bit depth, delivering a ground sampling distance of 30 m at 500 km altitude. The product page states a 120 km swath; a figure of 12 km appears on the Simera homepage and is consistent with a transposition error seen across other xScape50 listings -- the product page value is used here.[1] Video capability is 1080p at 30 fps.
